"My Wife and I were on our way to Seattle and we wanted to spend a day in Astoria Oregon, the mouth of the Columbia River! This is a very busy port and the town really is very quaint and is not over crowded. A really nice place with a long and interesting history. Teresa and Ken have done a wonderful job restoring this beautiful two story house (with basement). It contains a lot of quaint antiques, and history of the city. They have an elevated view of the mouth of the Columbia and water front. At sundown you may have one of the prettiest views on the Astoria B&B circuit. Bring a bottle of wine you can walk to dinner no worries. Teresa cooks one of the best breakfasts in the world, thank you! And the company was very nice. Ken is an avid Astoria History buff and knows quit a bit of its history, and sounds like this really fascinates him, he is passionate about it and conversation is excellent. Very interesting and entertaining. He also paints local scenery and he only started doing this after retiring and moving to Astoria. This was a pleasant discovery and a great stay. we don't stay at B&B's very often because we like private bathrooms, and we got one at this B&B. The view at our rooms balcony was excellent. If we are ever in the Area again, we would not hesitate to book a room here. We left as friends of the owners. We love them!"

A tasty plum in the Astoria!
"We reserved the Waterfront room on the top floor of Crosby House with it’s french doors through which we could enjoy ships coming and going on the Columbia. We also enjoyed the french door access to the covered balcony with a wicker cafe table and chairs even though we were there at the beginning of March and the cooler weather prevented us from spending much time out there. The balcony overlooks a fenced-in backyard with other warmer weather opportunities for relaxing outdoors. We visited Astoria at the beginning of March for my husband’s 71st birthday weekend, but we will return to enjoy the in-season amenities. The size of the room is generous, the queen bed very comfortable, and the walk-in shower bathroom just right for our needs. Across the hall from our room Teresa has set up a coffee room with a dazzling selection of coffees, teas, and hot chocolate with its own door to the second floor balcony—a wonderful place to fix that first cup of the day or last one at night. Teresa fixed us very special home cooked breakfasts each morning to further get our days off to a good start and engaged in pleasant conversation, providing information about the area. We didn’t use the living area adjacent to the dining room, but it looked comfortable and included a television for those who desire that particular amenity. We totally enjoyed our stay and plan to return."
